YHOO & TWX (AOL): London Times reporting that YHOO spent the Jul 4 weekend in renewed talks w/TWX re a deal w/AOL; YHOO hopes to have something signed ahead of its shareholder meeting Aug 1. WSJ's All Things Digital reports that the next major catalyst for Yahoo will be the Jul 22 earnings report; All Things D says that Yahoo is unlikely to "blow" the Q and in fact has been pulling out all the stops to post strong #s.   • YHOO departures becoming a problem: BusinessWeek discusses YHOO's growing problem re high-level employee departures; while a lot of the focus remains on YHOO's external pressures (the GOOG deal, MSFT's overtures, AOL, etc), some fear the company may be deteriorating rapidly from within.   • MSFT & YHOO update from Fortune: the magazine says it is convinced that MSFT will prevail in its fight for YHOO's search business.
