Dell denies reports that it is scaling back investment in the 10-inch netbook market

DigiTimes had reported that HP and Dell were cutting back on investment in the 10-inch netbook market and were setting their sights on the 11.6 inch class of machines. There were also reports that profits were too small using Intel's Pine Trail line and so the makers were considering AMD alternatives. Dell replied by saying the reporting has no basis in fact.
